Cure Studio ‘Big Antidote’ project
A pass the pen project we launched in January 2010. One illustrator completes a section of the story before the baton is passed on. Once we have 100 contributors we will print all of the work and put on an exhibition.
Since we started the project; it has been involved with our work for Busaba Eathai on the Hoxton Hoarding Project, and Yarn festival where we co-produced a live Illustrationarium that combined live storytelling and illustration. The project also featured at the launch of Teal Triggs' extraordinary peek into the world of 'zines', a book aptly named "Fanzines". The launch organised by Thames and Hudson brought together an incredible array of people producing graphic work which has all (with Big Antidote) been entered into the London College of Communication 'Zine Library'.
While the project is ongoing we have produced a limited edition print run of the first 12 parts of the story; if you want to get your hands on a copy (or to take part) do get in touch.
