The curators collective JJAM asked us to reinvent what could be done with yellow dusters for the 2010 Tent London design show. The project aimed to use the most banal everyday object to expose and promote the creativity of London’s contemporary design scene.
Our response plays on the age old cliché of having too much time and too little to do. We worked up the statement in sequins and thread across a patchwork quilt which stood at 5 meters tall; which was quite imposting when shown at Tent.
Alongside the exhibition at Tent, JJAM produced a great little postcard book and have been busy pushing out objects from the exhibition to various other shows already.
